1. Unpack and check the contents against the contents list on page 1 of this booklet.
2. To install the batteries, loosen the battery cover screw on the base by turning anticlockwise and remove
battery cover. Insert 4 x C size batteries inside the battery compartment, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) is
followed (see diagrams 1 & 2).

Ensure the smoothie mixing jug, stirrer, lolly moulds & lolly sticks are thoroughly washed before use.
4. Lift the two hinge tabs upwards (see diagram 3).
5. Place the smoothie mixing jug hinges into the cradles. Push the base of the jug (downwards & sideways)
until it clicks into the base (see diagram 4). NOTE: take care to ensure the jug is fi rmly locked in place before
trying to switch it on. Line up both the guide arrows (see diagram 4 inset) and click the jug into position to
disable the safety cut-off .
6. Close the hinge tabs (see diagram 5).
7. Make sure that the upright (that holds the lolly mould into place) is pushed fully inwards \ towards the jug
(see diagram 6). Place the lolly moulds onto the upright (see diagram 7).
8. Wash and prepare the fruit (always ask an adult to cut the fruit for you).
You can place the fruit in the fridge to create a cooler smoothie.
9. Carefully follow the mixing details and measures described in the Recipe Section and place the ingredients
into the smoothie mixing jug as instructed.
10. Place the lid onto the smoothie mixing jug.
11. Press the start button on the side of the base and mix until the ingredients are mixed according to the
recipe (see diagram 8).
12. Pour the mixture into a glass or lolly moulds as specifi ed in the individual recipes (see diagram 9).
13. To fi ll the lolly moulds, line one mould up with the jug spout, twist the jug lid to one side and fi ll
nearly to the top (leave approx. a 2mm gap). NOTE: liquid expands when frozen, so do not overfi ll.
14. Rotate the lolly mould and repeat until all of the moulds are full (see diagram 10). Place the lolly
sticks into the lolly moulds (see diagram 11) and remove from the upright. Ask an adult to put
this in the freezing compartment. NOTE: KEEP THE LOLLY MOULD UPRIGHT FOR STORAGE/FREEZING!
(see diagram 12).
15. Leave the lolly mix to freeze overnight or until frozen (freezing takes approx. 6-8 hours, depending
on freezer settings & recipe contents).
