TROUBLESHOOTING & TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Before each use and after any shock, please check for signs of damage, wear and tear requiring re-
pair. Do not use this appliance if any part is damaged or defective. Repairs must be carried out by a
suitably qualified person. Repairs by unqualified persons may be dangerous. Only use replacement
parts or accessories supplied or not recommended by the manufacturer.
When using the machine, if you hear squeaking noises coming from the hoover or if the suction power
seems to be reduced, stop the machine immediately and clean all filters.
Do not touch the machine if it falls into water. Remove the plug, switch off the machine and send it to
an authorised service centre for repair.
Do not attempt to open the cabinet or repair the unit yourself. This may cause an electric shock, so
call a professional.
The suction port must be open and must not be blocked at any time, otherwise the motor may overheat
and be damaged.
If the suction power of the appliance decreases, please check the hose for obstructions. You can open
the hose by pressing the square part of the handle. To reassemble the hose, first insert the hose into
the handle and then snap it into the connecting piece.
Important:
The filters should be inspected regularly, preferably after each use.
In case of damage, the filters must be replaced immediately. Always disconnect the hoover from the
power supply when inspecting the filter.
