are not firmly enclosed by the electrical or electronic device and can be removed without causing problems must be separated from
the device at a collection point before it is handed in and taken to a designated disposal facility. The same goes for lamps that can be
removed from the device without destroying it. Owners of electrical and electronic devices from private households can hand them in
at the collection points of the public waste disposal authorities or at the collection points set up by the manufacturers or distributors
within the meaning of the ElektroG. The disposal of old devices is free of charge. Consumers are encouraged to take measures to avoid
waste. With regard to electrical and electronic equipment, this means extending its lifespan by repairing defective equipment and
selling used equipment that is in good working order instead of sending it for disposal.
