6.8 Spring fitting
3_ place the bar in a vertical position and block the gearmo-
tor (see the "Manual release" chapter).
WARNING! Releasing and any other manual
operation must be carried out only with the
bar fitted. It is absolutely forbidden to ope-
rate the barrier without the bar fitted.
1_ Insert the supplied key;
2_ turn the handle approx. 330° clockwise. (if initially
it seems to resist, give the handle greater stren-
gth, no breakage of any kind will be caused).
Always rotate the release handle to the limit be-
fore manually acting on the boom.
Once released, the boom must automatically
move to the equilibrium position (approx. 45°).
WARNING! Releasing can be potentially
dangerous for the user when for any reason
whatsoever (bar badly fitted during instal-
lation, bar broken due to an accident, etc.)
the springs do not guarantee balancing any
longer!
They can cause the bar coupling and/or the
bar itself to rotate suddenly.
Now proceed with the assembly of the spring, hooking it
to the screw with eyelet and to the hole on the metal sheet
at the base of the cabinet, then carry out a first preload by
hand-turning the central body of the tie rod and the eyelet.
