A safety check must be performed during installation at the point of use to prevent loosening of parts due
to shipping.
Steps to follow:
1. The stove must be tested with a full cylinder.
2. Make sure the control is in the off position.
3. Make a soapy solution, one part water and one part soap.
4. Open the gas passage of the regulator.
5. Apply the soapy solution with a sprayer, brush or cloth.
6. Soap bubbles will appear in case of leakage.
7. In case of leak, close the gas passage of the regulator.
8. Tighten the connections with the corresponding clamps.
9. Reopen the gas passage to check again.
10. Repeat until the leak disappears. Do not smoke during the leak test.
GAS CHARACTERISTICS
Use butane or propane only.
o We recommend the use of Propane as it has a lower freezing point, suitable for outdoor appliances.
o The regulator and the rubber tube with clamps must follow the current regulations of each country.
o Installation must be under local regulations. In the absence of this, it must be carried out according
to the standard for storage and use of Liquefied Petroleum Gases.
o A cracked, rusty or damaged cylinder can be dangerous and must be checked by the manufacturer
or supplier. Never use a cylinder with a valve in poor condition.
IMPLEMENTATION
1. Open the gas passage of the cylinder regulator
2 . Press and turn the control knob to the PILOT position (90º counterclockwise).
3 . Press
the control knob and continue pressing while turning it counterclockwise to the Low (small flame
and lightning) position. At the same time press the power button. The lighter will automatically produce
sparks (it is also possible to light the device with a properly lit long match, carefully approaching the burner
and following the same steps).
