Under the dash on the passenger side of the vehicle behind the glove
compartment in the evaporator assembly
Tools:
Unknown or not required.
To remove filter:
1. Locate and remove the dashboard center and lower covers.
2. Locate and remove the four screws that secure the glove
compartment back cover.
3. Remove the back cover.
4. Removal of the glove compartment frame is necessary to access the
cabin filter cover. Remove the frame by releasing the hooks
and pulling downward on the striker. Disconnect the glove compartment
light connection and remove the bolt and screws
that are securing the frame.
5. Remove the frame.
6. Locate the cabin filter cover on the evaporator assembly and remove.
7. Remove the filter assembly by pushing on the tabs that secure the
assembly and pulling outward.
8. Remove the dirty filter from the frame and replace with a clean filter.
9. Reverse steps 1-7 to complete installation.
