Volvo 850: (in some cases, the cabin filter may not be fitted as standard in
850 models. The vehicle manufacturer's installation kit is required for first-
time installation of the cabin filter in the vehicle.)
Location of cabin filter:
Inside the filter compartment behind the strut mounting on the passenger side of
the vehicle.
Tools:
Unknown or not required.
To remove existing filter:
1. Remove the drain hose and the three screws.
2. Unfold the upper section of the filter cover and insert a support to hold up filter
cover.
3. Remove the dirty filter and replace with new filter.
4. Reverse the procedure to install new filter.
