Warning! To prevent the lawnmower's unintentional starting, it is equipped with an engine brake, which
must be actuated before the lawnmower is started. When the motor brake lever is released, it must
return to its initial position. The motor is automatically switched off.
Notes: Motor brake (brake lever): Use the lever to stop the motor. When you release the lever, the
motor and cutting blade stops automatically. For mowing, hold the lever in a working position. Before
the actual mowing, you should check the start/stop lever several times. Make sure that the hauling rope
is easily movable.
ATTENTION
- Never leave the mower without the engine has stopped entirely. To control, release the brake lever
(see above) and wait until the motor is completely still and free from vibration
- For maintenance work, please also remove the spark plug connector
- Never refuel the lawnmower when there is an open fire nearby. Smoking is strictly prohibited during
refueling
- Be aware that the engine can be scorching immediately after working. Please wear safety gloves when
refueling
22. Starting/stopping the engine
Start
Make sure that the engine is filled with sufficient oil and gasoline before you start it.
Pull the brake lever (upper lever) against the handle and pull the starter cable slightly until resistance is
felt. Then pull the starter cable smoothly until the engine starts.
NOTE:
Do not operate the wheel drive lever at the same time. When the engine has started, and you want to
use the self-propulsion, do you run the lower lever.
Due to a protective layer on the engine, a slight smoke may be produced when you use the device for
the first time. This is a standard procedure. Pull the brake lever towards the push handle. Do not let the
pull starter snapback.
Stopping
Release the brake lever to stop the motor.
WARNING:
The blade will continue to rotate for a few seconds after the engine is turned off. Unplug
the spark plug connector when leaving the mower unattended.
Stopping
Release the brake lever to stop the engine.
WARNING:
The blade will continue to rotate for a few seconds after the engine is turned off. Turn the
spark plug off when leaving the mower unattended.
MOWING INSTRUCTIONS
- In certain circumstances, such as high grass, it may be necessary to raise the cutting height to reduce
the thrust and engine load, leading to grass residue. It may also be required to reduce the essential
speed and push the mower twice over this area
- Reduce the cutting width by covering the previous cut again to perform heavy cutting work
