Performing a Listening Check of the Headpiece Microphone
•
Ensure that the Neptune Connect is attached to the sound processor.
•
Connect headphones to the 3.5mm auxiliary connector on the side of the
Neptune Connect.
•
Place headphones/earbuds on an unaided listener's ears.
•
Slide the program switch to the monitor position (∆).
•
Provide input to the headpiece microphone to assess audio quality.
Using Personal FM
•
With the Neptune Connect already attached to the sound processor, connect a
Phonak MLxi FM receiver to the Neptune Connect.
