SPECIFIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

tool unsafely or incorrectly, you can suffer serious personal injury.
1.
Use the correct tool for the job. This tool was designed for a specific
function. Do not modify or alter this tool or use it for an unintended
purpose.
2.
Do not use the tool if any parts are damaged, broken or misplaced.
Repair or replace the parts.
3.
Do not insert any part of your body into the pipe/tube notcher. The
cutter will amputate the body part when the handle is pulled down.
4.
After cutting workpieces use caution. Be aware of sharp edges or sharp
shreds of metal that may be created. Use heavy duty gloves when
handling the workpiece.
UNPACKING
WARNING! Do not operate the tool if any part is missing. Replace the
missing part before operating. Failure to do so could result in a malfunction
and personal injury.
Remove the parts and accessories from the packaging and inspect for damage.
Make sure that all items in the parts list are included.
ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
Numbered references in parenthesis (#1) refer to the included Parts List.
1.
Install both brackets (#6 and 7) onto the base (#1) with the hex bolts (#15).
2.
Mount the pipe/tube notcher on the wall or workbench.
a.
Make sure it is low enough to comfortably install the workpiece
and operate the tool' s lever without hitting any obstructions.
b.
The mounting hardware is not included.
3.
Remove the screw in the handle 1 (#14) and insert the handle over the
handle shank (#5). insert and tighten the screw to secure the handle to
the shank.
a.
You may install handle 2 (#9) onto handle 1 in the same manner to
increase your leverage.
