How to Use the Vacuum Stopper
Use the vacuum stopper (9) to cork the bottle and also to remove air
from the bottle for long-term wine storage:
1. Take the vacuum stopper (see Fig. V-1) and insert it tightly into the
neck of the bottle (see Fig. V-2).
2. Pull the piston (8) (see Fig. V-3), and then push it down (see Fig. V-4).
3. Repeat the movements several times to remove the air.
Troubleshooting
1. The opener stops during the uncorking process. Possible cause:
low battery level. Solution: charge the device.
2. The worm cannot go deep into the cork. The tip of the worm is
damaged; the worm met the side of the bottle's neck. Solution: press
and hold the upper part of the cork removal/ejection button until the
worm comes completely out of the cork. Thoroughly inspect the tip
of the worm: if it is damaged, stop using the wine opener and contact
an authorized service center. If the worm is in good condition,
continue uncorking the bottle, making sure to hold the wine opener
vertically, without tilting it.
3. The cork is stuck inside the opener; the cork removal/ejection
button doesn't work. Possible cause: the worm is blocked. Solution:
press the lower part of the cork removal/ejection button to unblock
the worm. If it then begins to rotate, try uncorking the bottle again.
Press and hold the upper part of the cork removal/ejection button
until the cork comes completely out of the wine opener.
4. The device indicators are not flashing or are off. Possible causes:
the battery is discharged; defect of the device or indicators
malfunction. Solution: charge the device, check the cable if necessary;
contact an authorized service center.
ATTENTION! Do not use a defective device or accessories. If the above
steps have been performed but the device does not operate properly,
