UNPACKING INSTRUCTION
CAUTION! Carefully unpack the box upon receipt. Check the contents to ensure that all parts are present, and have been
received in good condition. Notify the shipper immediately and retain packing material for inspection if any parts appear damage
from shipping or the package itself shows signs of mishandling. Save the package and all packing materials. In the event that
the product must be returned to the factory, it is important that the product be returned in the original factory box and packing.
If the device has been exposed to drastic temperature fluctuation (e.g. after transportation), do not switch it on immediately. The
arising condensation water might damage your device. Leave the device switched off until it has reached room temperature.
POWERSUPPLY
On the label on the backside of the product is indicated on this type of power supply must be connected. Check that the mains
voltage corresponds to this, all other voltages than specified, the light effect can be irreparably damaged. The product must also
be directly connected to the mains and may be used. No dimmer or adjustable power supply.
Always connect the device to a protected circuit (circuit breaker or fuse). Make sure the device has an appropriate
electrical ground to avoid the risk of electrocution or fire.
CONTROLS AND CONNECTIONS
1. DC5V IN
Slot to charge the speaker with USB-C power cable.
2. Line in
3.5mm jack input for connecting external device. (Smartphone,
MP3 player/PC/Laptop)
3. Mic1 & Mic2
6,5mm jack input to insert wired microphone.
4. Led indicators
When the LED lights up it shows the current mode. (BT/Line/M-
Vol or M-Echo)
After you choose the mode, when playing the music, these four
led light shows the battery status, when 4 lights is lighting, means
full battery, when only got one light, means low battery.
5. Volume/Menu
Rotate to adjust the overall volume level.
Short press this button to select Mic-Volume/Mic Echo.
6. Power
Press and hold this button to power on/off the speaker.
7. Led
Press this button to switch between different LED modes; 1,2,3,4,5 and off for gril LED.
Press and hold this button to turn on/off the LED.
8. Mode
Press this button to select BT/LINE IN.
9. Previous
Press this button to select previous track.
10. Pause/Play/LINK
Press this button to Pause/Play.
Press and hold to activate link function. (Stereo pairing mode)
11. Next
Press this button for next track.
WIRED MICROPHONE OPERATION
Insert the 6.3mm jack of the microphone cable into the microphone input.
1. Press the "Volume" and switch the indicator light to "MIC VOL", then adjust mic volume.
2. Press the "Volume" and switch the indicator light to "MIC ECHO", then adjust mic echo.
LINK/STEREO (TWS) PAIRING FUNCTION
This function allows you to connect two FENTON KAR speakers wirelessly and to reproduce the music from the same source at
the same time. The process to connect two speakers is as below.
1. First power on both speakers and put them in BT mode.
2. Next pair your phone/tablet to the first speaker in the normal way.
3. After successful connection, double click the [Pause/Play/LINK] button, you will hear a sound on the second speaker, that
means TWS connect successfully.
BT CONNECTION
1. Activate the BT on your device (Mobile phone, tablet etc.) which you want to play the music. See the operating instructions
for that device.
2. Press the [MODE] button and activate BT function.
3. Select "FENTON KAR" on your BT device and pair.
Attention: BT distance is approx. 10meter without any barrier.
