10.1 Setting light modes
Preconditions:
a
Ambient light levels have dropped, and the motion sensor is active.
a
The battery is charged.
1. Press the mode button repeatedly to cycle through modes.
2. The different modes are as follows:
Mode
Description
A
Light is OFF
When the motion sensor is triggered, bright light switches ON approx. 15
seconds then switches OFF.
B
Light ON (low)
When the motion sensor is triggered, brightness increases for approx. 15
seconds then returns to: light ON (low)
C
Light ON (low)
D
Power OFF
10.2 Motion detection
The product is equipped with a motion sensor that activates when movement is detected.
For best motion detection:
The subject should move across the sensor.
The sensor should not be placed behind glass.
Note:
The senor should be mounted at a maximum height of 3 meters.
Detection range: max. 3m
Detection angle: 120°
11 Troubleshooting
Problem
Possible causes
The light does not turn on.
The battery power is not suf-
ficient to light the product.

There is a nearby light
source which causes inter-
ference with the product.

12 Cleaning and care
Important:
– Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions.
They damage the housing and can cause the product to malfunction.
– Do not immerse the product in water.
Keeping the solar panels clean will maximize charging efficiency.
Clean the product with a fibre-free cloth.
13 Disposal
This symbol must appear on any electrical and electronic equipment placed on
the EU market. This symbol indicates that this device should not be disposed of
as unsorted municipal waste at the end of its service life.
Owners of WEEE (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment) shall dispose
of it separately from unsorted municipal waste. Spent batteries and accumulators,
which are not enclosed by the WEEE, as well as lamps that can be removed from
the WEEE in a non-destructive manner, must be removed by end users from the
WEEE in a non-destructive manner before it is handed over to a collection point.
Distributors of electrical and electronic equipment are legally obliged to provide free take-
back of waste. Conrad provides the following return options free of charge (more details on
