CONDITIONS FOR ATTACHMENT OF THE COUPLING DEVICE TO THE
VEHICLE
•
Any change or reconstruction of the coupling device is not permitted!
•
Presumption for the installation of the coupling device into the towing vehicle is that the
vehicle meets perfectly the geometric parameters declared by manufacturer and that the
fixing points on bottom of the rear part of bodywork are not deformed or injured by
accident or attacked by corrosion at elder vehicles.
Procedure of the attachment to the vehicle:
•
It is not necessary to demount the bumper.
•
Demount two bolts (that fix bumper reinforcement) from each side of longitudinal beams
at the vehicle chassis. These bolts will not be used again.

Attach side plates from inner side of the beams- inset bolts M12x140 into the released
holes. Put 2+2 distance rolls l=35 mm below the side plates. Insert the same bolt into the
last hole at each side plate and use the distance roll l=39 mm that will compensate the
mass of the bumper console that is not present at this place. The bolts slightly screw into
the threads in outer side of bumper console and secured with nuts M12. All the holes are
prepared by vehicle manufacturer. All the bolts must have a washer under their heads.

Cut lower bumper part in symmetry axis: 60 mm x 120 mm for vehicles without a bumper
step.
•
From the bottom side, insert special nuts M8 into the holes in the cross reinforcement.
•
Put the crossbeam (1) between side plates (3+4) and fix by bolts M12 . Do not tighten,
yet. See figure.
•
From the bottom, screw bolts with washers M8 through horizontal holders into the
special nuts . See figure. Tighten by torque
•
Tighten two bolts .
•
Tighten all the bolts firmly
•
Fit the electric socket and install the wiring.
