Caring for the Rice Cooker
Cleaning Instructions
wWARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Do not immerse base in water or other liquid.
Failure to follow these instructions can result
in death, fire, or electrical shock.
1. Unplug rice cooker.
2. Inner lid and collector cup may be removed to wash
by hand. Do not place any pieces in the dishwasher.
DO NOT use abrasive cleansers or scrubbers.
Wash in warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
3. Do not remove attached inner lid gasket. If the inner
lid gasket comes off, please reinstall by inserting the
inner lid gasket into the center hole of the inner lid.

Never use lid handle to carry cooker when
contents are hot.
Failure to follow these instructions can result
in burns or serious injury.
4. Clean heating plate/center
thermostat with cloth.
5. To replace the lid liner, simply align the holes and
press the liner back into place. Inner lid attaches
one direction only.
Sanitizing
1. Wash removable cooking pot as instructed in
"Cleaning Instructions."
2. Immerse cooking pot, removable lid, rice paddle,
and measuring cup in sanitizing solution for
2 minutes.
3. Allow to air dry.
4. Wipe down all areas of inner lid with a clean

paper towel and sanitizing solution.
5. Rinse with clean water before using.
Recommended sanitizing solution:
The sanitizing solution should consist of 1 tablespoon
(15 ml) of household bleach per 1 gallon (3.8 liter)
of clean, cool water (60°F/16°C) mixed according
to the instructions on the bleach.
