6. USE
When using your appliance for the first time, it may emit a slight odour. This is normal. Therefore,
ensure that the room is sufficiently ventilated. This odour is only temporary and will quickly disappear.
1. Set both switches to the « O» position, then plug the appliance into a power outlet.
2. Turn the thermostat +/- control to its maximum position.
3. Heating at half power (1000 W): set the O/I switch to position «I».
4. Heating at full power (2000 W): set the O/II switch to position «II».
5. Turn the +/- control on the thermostat to select the desired temperature. When the temperature
is higher than your setting, the appliance stops working. When the temperature is lower than
your setting, the appliance will work again.
Warning! If it overheats, the appliance turns itself off automatically. Set both switches
to the «O» position. Unplug the appliance from the power source, then let it cool down
completely. Before using the appliance again, check that the air inlet or outlet openings
are not blocked by lint, hair or other objects.
6. Switching off : set both switches to the «O»position. Connect the plug to the mains supply.
7. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
This type of heater requires regular maintenance to remove any dust.
Warning! Before cleaning, make sure you have the appliance switched off. Always
remove the plug from the socket and leave the appliance to cool down before cleaning
it.
Warning! Never submerge the appliance's electrical parts in water or any other liquid
during cleaning or when it is operating. Never expose the electrical parts to running
water.
1. Clean the appliance using a soft, damp cloth. Make sure you do not allow any moisture to enter
the appliance when cleaning it.
2. Never use corrosive detergents, a wire brush, abrasive scouring pad, metal or sharp tools to
clean your appliance.
3. Dry the appliance completely after cleaning it.
4. Storage: place the appliance in a cool, dry place away from children and pets.
