NOTES AND WARNINGS
SAFETY RULES
- Ge ng on and ge ng off the wheelchair should take place with the brakes adjusted and blocked.
- The brakes must not be used while the wheelchair is moving (only when sta onary).
- To increase the stability of the product, make sure that the front wheels are aligned in the direc on of travel before
leaning forward.
- Do not lean forward excessively or lean to the sides of the wheelchair.
- Only use the wheelchair on surfaces where all four wheels touch the ground.
- Carry the product by grasping the frame structure. Never carry it by other parts of the product.
- It is not allowed to use the product if there is any visible or percep ble damage or if the degree of wear of
par cular parts of the wheelchair causes a poten al risk of accident (wear of wheels, damage, damage to
upholstery).
- When ge ng on and off of the wheelchair, do not stand on the footrests as this may cause the wheelchair to p
over.
- When driving over thresholds or other obstacles, extreme care should be taken when transferring all weight to the
rear wheels. If there is any concern as to whether this manoeuvre can be carried out safely, it is impera ve that a
second person is requested to assist.
- When moving the wheelchair, take care that the fi ngers of your hands do not get between the spokes. This can
lead to hand injury.
- Special care should be taken when driving on inclines. If you fi nd it diffi cult to pass an incline safely, it is essen al
that you ask another person for help.
- Avoid contact of the product with fi re. If tex le, plas c and rubber parts come into direct contact with fi re, they
may ignite.
CAUTION: Incorrect or careless transfer of body weight to the rear wheels can lead to the wheelchair pping over
backwards, which is a very dangerous event. It can lead to serious injuries! If you are in any doubt as to whether it
will be possible to safely pass an obstacle, it is impera ve that you ask for help from another person!
ATTENTION: The manufacturer will not be held liable for damage caused by negligent maintenance, inadequate
servicing or as a result of not following the other recommenda ons in this manual.
ATTENTION: It is forbidden to use the product in any other way than in accordance with its intended use!
ATTENTION: During use and handling of the product and when assembling and adjus ng its mechanisms, there
may be a danger of trapping and/or squeezing of parts of the user's/companion's body in openings/gaps between
components. Perform these opera ons with par cular care.
NOTE: There may be a risk of pping over if the product is used incorrectly. Please follow the instruc ons for ge ng
on/off /moving. Once the adjustment is complete, stabilise the posi on by ghtening the nuts/bolts carefully.
CAUTION:
In the event of a device-related "serious incident" that has directly or indirectly led to, could have led to or may lead
to any of the following:
(a) death of a pa ent, user or other person, or
(b) temporary or permanent deteriora on of the health of a pa ent, user or other person, or
(c) a serious risk to public health
the above 'serious incident' must be no fi ed to the manufacturer and to the competent authority of the Member
State in which the user or pa ent is resident. In the case of Poland, the competent authority is the Offi ce for
Registra on of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products.
NOTES:
In case of pain, allergic reac ons or other disturbing symptoms unclear to the user related to the use of the medical
device, consult a healthcare professional.
