clean and free of oil and grease.
Slippery handles and gripping surfaces do

SAFETY WARNINGS FOR HEDGE
TRIMMERS
1) GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Keep all parts of the body away from
the cutter blade. Do not remove cut
material or hold material to be cut when
blades are moving. Make sure the
switch is off when removing jammed
material.
A moment of inattention while operating
the hedge trimmer could result in serious
personal injury.
Carry the hedge trimmer by the handle
with the blade stopped. When
transporting or storing the hedge
trimmer, always attach the cutting
device cover.
Proper handling of the hedge trimmer will
reduce possible personal injury caused by
the trimmer blades.
Keep cord away from cutting area.
During operation, the cable may become
hidden in bushes and may be accidentally
cut by the blade.
Hold the power tool by the insulated
gripping surfaces only, as the cutter
blade may come into contact with
hidden wiring or its own cord.
Cutting blades coming into contact with a
"live" wire can cause exposed metal parts
of the power tool to be "live" and could
cause an electric shock to the operator.
