visual inspect the following points:
- State of stretcher lifting sling hardware (buckle, D-rings, karabiners); these items must not be damaged, broken,
distorted and must be free of sharp edges, burrs, cracks, worn parts, or corrosion.
- State of webbing: Material must be free of frayed, cut or broken fibers. Check for tears, abrasion, mold, burn or
discoloration.
- Inspect stitches: check for pulled or cut stitches. Broken stitches may be an indication that the product has been
impact loaded and must be removed from service.
PERIODIC REVIEW:
The examination must be performed at least every twelve months by the manufacturer or a competent
organization, mandated by them. This very important check is related to the maintenance and efficacy of the
product and hence the user's safety.
Replace the stretcher lifting sling if necessary.
The Record card must be completed prior to the first use of the product and then updated and kept with the
product as well as the manual by the user,
The legibility of the product labeling should be checked periodically.

STORAGE INSTRUCTION :

During transport and storage :
-Keep the product in its packaging
-Keep the product away from any sharp, abrasive, object, etc...
-Keep the product away from sunlight, heat, flames, hot metal, oil, petroleum product, harsh chemicals, acids,
dyes, solvents, sharp edges and structures of small diameter. These items can affect the performance of the
product.
After use, store the product in its packaging in a cool, dry, ventilated area.
INSTRUCTION FOR CLEANING / MAINTENANCE :
Clean with soap and water with a cloth and hang in a ventilated area to dry naturally away from any direct fire or
source of heat, even for items that got wet during use.
Bleach and detergents are strictly prohibited.
