Adjusting the Switch point (on/off)
1. The pump's switch point (on/off) may be adjusted by
changing the position of the cable (4) in the way that the
float switch cable clip is attached (3);
Attaching the Cable
Clip for the float
switch
Before you operate the pump, follow these instructions
carefully:
▪ The float switch (1) must be adjusted to allow it to
rise and fall freely according to fluctuations in the
level of liquid;
▪ The distance between the float switch and where the
cable is attached (3) should not be too short. If the
float switch and cable are positioned too close
together, the pump may not work properly.
▪ When adjusting the position of these two items,
ensure that the float switch does not touch the
bottom before the pump shuts off. If this happens,
the pump runs the risk of running dry.
Instructions for Operating in Manual mode
1. Once the submerged pump in placed in the location
where it will create suction, you can connect the power
cable (6);
2. Raise the float (1) until the metal ball inside the float
moves to the end nearest the cable, where the circuit
breaker switch is located.
3. To stop the pump, lower the float until the metal ball
moves, thus breaking the circuit and stopping the
pump;

Instructions for Operating in Automatic mode
1. Once the submerged pump in placed in the location
where it will create suction, you can connect the power
cable (6);
2. The pump will start when the float (1) reaches the
maximum level set for the pump to start automatically.
The metal ball inside the float will move to the end
nearest the cable, where a switch will close the circuit;
3. The pump shuts off when the float reaches the
minimum level set for the pump to stop. The metal ball
will move, breaking the circuit and shutting off the
pump;
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Cleaning
This submersible pump does not require any
maintenance, however, if the pump is installed
permanently, it should be checked regularly to ensure
that it is kept in perfect working order and has a long
lifespan.
Every 3 months:
▪ Check that the float switch is operational;
▪ Clean the pump and float switch (1) using running
water;
▪ Clean the location where the pump applies suction,
remove any mud that has accumulated at the bottom
and clean the walls if necessary;
When using the pump as a portable pump, clean it with
running water after each use;
Before cleaning your pump, ensure it is
unplugged.
