STARTING THE ENGINE
1. Turn the engine switch to the 'on' position. 2. Open the fuel shut-off valve. 3.
Move the choke lever to the closed position. 4. Slightly move the throttle lever to
the fast speed position. 5. Pull the recoil starter until the engine compression has
become difficult to pull. Allow the recoil to return to the home position and pull
quickly to start the engine. Repeat the steps as necessary. Fully open the choke
and set the throttle to the 'fast' position, before operating the unit.

ROTOR LOCK
If the rotor is blocked by a piece of wood: Switch off
the machine, turn the rotor shaft a few degrees with
a spanner after removing the cover, and remove the
piece of wood with a stick or similar.

SAFETY SYSTEM
This machine has an automatic stop system if a hand gets into
the hopper. Before switching it on, make sure that the SC System
lever is in the ON position.
