2.5 PERSONAL SAFETY
• Always remain alert and watch what you are doing when operating an electrical appliance. Do
not use any electrical appliance if you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or
medication.
• Avoid unintentional starting. Make sure that the switch is turned off before connecting the plug.
Carrying electrical devices with your finger on the switch or plugging in electrical devices with
the switch turned on can lead to accidents
• Wear appropriate clothing. Do not wear loose articles of clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair,
clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothing, jewellery or long hair can get
caught in moving parts.
• Always wear protective goggles and hearing protection when working with the staple gun.
• Material containing asbestos must not be processed.
2.6 USE AND MAINTENANCE OF ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
• Check the appliance for errors or damage. If damaged, have the electrical appliance repaired
by a specialist before use.

3.0 INTENDED USES
The electric tacker is a hand-held tool that drives driving objects such as staples and nails into a
workpiece with a straight-line motion. The driving objects leave the tool at a high speed and
provide a mechanical connection or fastening of various workpieces. The electric tacker is suitable
for stapling cardboard, insulating material, leather, fabric, wire mesh and similar materials to
hardwood, softwood, chipboard or plywood-like material.
Use the product only for the purpose it is intended for. The manufacturer accepts no liability for
damage caused by unintended use. Any modification to the product may negatively impact safety,
cause hazards and invalidate the warranty.
