SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Warning: Read the manual carefully to ensure safe operation.
Electrical safety
• Keep electrical appliances out of the reach of children. Do not let children use the appliance without supervision.
• The appliance is not to be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction.
• Ensure that the fan is switched off and its cable is unplugged from the socket before removing the guard.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
Rules for safe operation
• Do not leave the fan running unattended.
• Never insert fingers, pencils or any other object through the grille while the fan is running.
• Disconnect the fan when moving it from one location to another.
• Disconnect the fan before removing grilles for cleaning.
• Ensure that the fan is on a stable surface while operating to avoid overturning.
• DO NOT turn on the fan near an open window. Rain may create an electrical hazard.
• Complete the assembly of the fan before switching it on.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Blade and grilles (Fig. 1, Fig. 2)
1. Unscrew the spinner clockwise and the nut counterclockwise then remove both of them.
2. Set the rear grille in the proper position with the handle facing up.
3. Screw on the plastic nut tightly to attach the rear guard.
4. Discard the plastic sleeve on the motor shaft.
5. Install the blade onto the motor shaft until it reaches the retaining pin.
6. Screw the spinner onto the motor shaft counterclockwise.
7. Unscrew the locking screw mounted on the rear grille.
Mount the front grille onto the rear grille by aligning the small round holes on the top so that the
locking screw can pass through. Fix both grilles with clips and then use a screwdriver to tighten
the locking screw.
8. Align the front guard with the guard clamp to the back guard and firmly push until it locks with
the back guard. Make sure that the handle of the clamp is positioned on the lower portion of
the guard.
Base
1. Remove the screw from the base of the fan.
2. Match the locking lug to the base.
3. Tighten the screw from the base to lock the fan and base.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (FIG. 3)
1. To turn fan head oscillation on or off, push down/pull the clutch knob.
2. To adjust the airflow upward or mild downward, simply loosen the swivel adjustment knob,
adjust to the desired angle and then firmly tighten the swivel adjustment knob.
3. The speed is controlled by pressing the relevant buttons.
4. Plug the power supply cord into a socket.
CLEANING
• Always unplug the fan's power supply cord from the socket before cleaning.
• Plastic parts should be cleaned with mild soap and a damp cloth or sponge. After cleaning, thoroughly wipe the fan and ensure it is completely dry before
turning it on.
• Ensure that water and other liquids will not enter the motor.
