8. Charging time
The following table lists the various charging times (the charging time depends on the depth of
discharge).

9. Warning
Please note that the battery must be remo-
ved from the charging shaft if the charger
is not connected to the network. Otherwise,
the battery will be discharged!
If batteries are new or have not been used for
some time, it is quite likely that they do not
reach their nominal capacity. This is not
a fault and normal under these circumstances.
The full capacity will be reached after about 5
charge /discharge cycles.
10. Disposal
Battery chargers, accessories and packaging
should be sorted for environmental-friendly re-
cycling.
Only for EC countries:
Do not dispose of battery chargers into house-
hold waste! According to the European Directi-
ve 2002/96/EG on waste electrical and electro-
nic equipment and its incorporation into national
law, battery chargers that are no longer suitable
for use must be separately collected and sent
for recovery in an environmental-friendly man-
ner.
11. Guarantee
There is a 12 month warranty for all Akku Power
products as from the invoice date. Damage
arising from overloading or improper handling is
not covered.

max. charging time
The charger observes the temperature of the
battery packs. Therefore, batteries which have
a temperature above 65 ° C or below 5 ° C, will
not be charged.
The charger has been designed for Li-Ion and
Ni-MH batteries. Ni-MH tend to heat up more
during charging in this case it is no fault it's
normal.
