5. Safety Instructions
1. Before you use the charger, check the power cord, extension cable and connectors for
any signs of damage or ageing.
2. Do not open up batteries or the charger - do not puncture or expose to heat as there is
a risk of explosion.
3. Only store in dry areas. Protect from moisture and damp.
4. Do not use if the charger is defective and never insert devectives batteries.
5. Observe the symbols on the chargers rating plate.
6. Do not throw old batteries into the fire or dispose of as domestic waste. Akku Power has
an environmental-friendly battery disposal scheme-contact your local dealer.
7. Keep metal objects that could cause shorts away from the charger. Also keep the venti
lation slots free of metal or metal shavings.
8. Do not dismantle the charger or batteries.
9. Repairs may only be preformed by specially trained technicians.
10. Before using the charger, carefully read the safety instructions so that you do not compromise
your safety.
11. The charger is designed for NiMH and Li-ION batteries with voltages ranging from 9,6V to 28V
and capacities from 1.3Ah to 6.0Ah.

3. AC-line connection
Before connecting the charger, check that
the AC supply voltage and frequency are the
same as those indicated on the charger. The
charger is ready for operation when the po-
wer cord is connected to the AC line outlet.
