SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY: Read and follow all instructions. Place
instructions in a safe place for future reference. Do not allow anyone who has
not read these instructions to assemble, light, adjust or operate the heater.
•
Extreme caution: This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
•
This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch
hot surfaces. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows,
bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9m) from the front
of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
•
Always unplug heater when not in use.
•
Do not operate the heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater
malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return it
to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical
adjustment, or repair.
•
Indoor use only.
•
This heater (with IP24 protection) is suitable for use in wet or damp rooms
such as bathrooms, washrooms, etc., and is intended for indoor use only! If
you use the heater in bathroom or washroom (wet or damp room), please
make sure the IPX0 plug cannot be used in Zone 0 (IPX7), Zone 1(IPX4)
and Zone 2 (IPX4) according to HD 60364-7-701: 2007 unless the plug
and the socket outlet are protected by an enclosure with at least IPX4
protection degree. Keep the heater at least 60 cm. away from water points
and make sure that it can never fall into water and that no water can enter
the stove. Should this ever happen, take out the plug from the socket
first! Do not use an internally wet stove again but offer it for repair. Never
immerse the heater, cord or plug in water or other liquids and never touch
the heater with wet hands.
•
Do not run cord under material. Do not cover cord with throw rugs,
runners, or similar coverings.
•
To prevent a possible fire, do not block the space between the heater and
the wall which is for air intake or exhaust in any manner.
•
A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in the
areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
•
Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not
recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or
injury to persons.
•
Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may
overheat and cause a risk of fire. However, if you have to use an extension
cord, the cord shall be rated not less than 200 watts(under 220-240V).
•
To prevent overloading a circuit, do not plug the heater into a circuit that
