3. OPERATION
Note:
You should always take the necessary precautions, such as wearing protective gloves and
making sure that the drill is switched off and disconnected from the power supply before
carrying out any manipulation on its components.
Pressure: when drilling, never push hard on the drill bit to speed up the process, as this
1.
will damage the drill chuck, reduce the efficiency of the work and shorten the service life
of the drill chuck.
2.
Use of large diameter: the larger the diameter of the chuck, the greater the counterforce
exerted with the hands. Be careful not to lose control of the drill due to excessive counter
force. For good control, you should hold the drill firmly with both hands and keep the drill
chuck and the drill base in a vertical position.
3.
During hole drilling, a sudden movement of the drill bit may occur, causing damage to the
drill chuck or the main body of the drill bit. Therefore, you should be alert to stop pushing
at any time.
4.
Trigger operation:
Press the on/off trigger and the lock switch so that the tool operates continuously.
A.
B.
To stop continuous operation, press the on/off trigger again to deactivate the lock.
NOTE: the speed of this tool is internally controlled and is determined by the power of its
operation. This means that the rotational speed of the appliance is automatically adjusted
according to the force and intensity with which it is being used.
Drill bit assembly on the drill chuck
Locate the drill chuck, which is the front part of the drill where the drill bits are inserted
1.
and held. Ensure that the drill chuck is clean and free of obstructions.
2.
Turn the drill chuck key counterclockwise to open it fully, holding the back part of the drill
chuck firmly to be able to do so. This will allow you to insert the drill bit properly.
3.
Select the right drill bit for your task. Make sure the drill bit is compatible with the drill and
designed for the type of work you want to do.
4.
Insert the drill bit into the drill chuck making sure that it fits correctly. Turn the drill chuck
key clockwise to tighten and hold the drill bit securely, holding the back part of the drill
chuck again. Make sure that the drill bit is securely fastened and has no movement or
play.
5.
Check that all connections are secure and correctly assembled. Make sure that there are
no loose or ill-fitting parts.

NOTE:
The auxiliary handle can be repositioned according to the user's needs. This handle is
-
designed to provide additional support and improve control during drill operation. Its
adjustment capacity allows the users to adapt its position according to the specific task
they are performing and their personal preference.
It is important to note that the auxiliary handle is fixed in position by means of a fastening
-
screw. This screw allows the handle to be firmly secured in the desired position, ensuring
that it remains stable during the operation of the drill.
-
Changing the auxiliary handle position can be useful for different situations. For example,
when drilling at awkward angles or in tight spaces, adjusting the auxiliary handle can
improve stability and make it easier to control the drill. In addition, by changing the position
of the handle, users can better distribute the weight of the drill, which can reduce fatigue
during prolonged use.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1.
Drill chuck maintenance: using worn or damaged drill bits would reduce the working
efficiency and overload the motor. Always check the drill chuck and replace it if necessary.
2.
Maintenance of the fastening screws: always check that the fastening screws are
tightened properly. If the screws loosen, they must be tightened immediately to avoid
accidents.
Maintenance of the carbon brush: the carbon brush of the motor is a consumable part. If
3.
the carbon brush becomes worn, the motor will not work properly, so keep it clean so that
it can move freely in its holder.
4.
Motor maintenance: before using a drill for a long period of time, the insulation resistance
of the coils and the casing should be checked.
-
Metal or plastic: use a drill bit suitable for metal.
-
Wood: use a drill bit suitable for wood. For small holes with a diameter of less than 6.5 mm
it is advisable to choose metal drill bits.
-
Drilling holes in a metal part: set the selector to the Drill (drill bit) position and insert a
standard metal drill bit.
-
Drilling holes in wood: select the appropriate drill bit for wood or metal, depending on the
diameter of the hole to be drilled, and press the operating switch.
-
Drilling holes in concrete, stone materials, etc.: set the selector to the Hammer position so
that the drill chuck rotates and impacts the material.
Warning: if the drill chuck is inserted too deep, it could damage the collet and affect the drilling
quality.
