8.4 Odor filters for recirculation mode
Odor filters bind smells in recirculation mode. Regularly
replaced odor filters guarantee a high level of odor
removal.
With normal use (approx. 1 hour a day), the odor filter
must be replaced every 3 - 6 months. Replace it more
often if your cooking style generates extra grease, such as
frying and wok cooking. The odor filter cannot be cleaned
or regenerated.
You can obtain odor filters from Customer Service or the
online shop. Only use original odor filters.

Replacing the odor filters
Remove the grease filter.

Place the odor filter inside the frame of the grease filter.

The odor filter has a white stripe on one side. This
"Clean Sense" indicator should be facing towards the
cooking surface when the grease filter is installed.

Rotate clip up and over frame until clip snaps in place

– The indicator strip has dotted lines. When the lines
have turned to wide solid lines the odor filter is
saturated and should be replaced.
Note: DO NOT immerse the odor filters in water or put
them in the dishwasher.
