POWER AND SPEED CONTROL
(FIG 1)
• to turn the jig saw on, push the lock-off switch (1)
from either side and slowly depress the variable-speed
switch (2) until the blade begins to move.
• to adjust the speed, increase or decrease the amount of
pressure placed on the switch. the more pressure, the
higher the speed.
• to turn the jig saw off, release the switch.
ORBITAL ACTION (FIG 1)
NOTE:
orbital action creates a more aggressive cut,
and can lead to more tearout.
• the general setting should be "0", which provides a
smooth cut.
• turn the orbital action selector (8) to either "1" for
aggressive or "2" for the most aggressive setting,
depending on the material to be cut.
ADJUSTING THE BASE FOR BEVEL
CUTS (FIG 5 & FIG 6)
• Make sure the jig saw is turned off and the battery
removed.
• using the included allen wrench (4), loosen but do not
remove the two screws (7a) on the bottom of the jig
saw. see fig 5.
• with the two screws loose, slide the base (7) backwards
as far as it will go. Depending on the direction of bevel,
adjust the base left or right to the desired bevel angle.
the base has 7 positive stops at 0°, 15°, 30° and 45°
left and right.
• after selecting the bevel angle, push the base forward,
aligning the notch (7b) in the bevel angle with the
indicator on the bottom of the jig saw. see fig 6.
• use the allen wrench to tighten both screws securely.
then, check to make sure both screws have been
tightened properly.

OPERATION
LED WORK LIGHT (FIG 1)
your tool has a built-in leD work light (10) to illuminate
the cutline. when you turn on the tool, the work light will
automatically turn on.
EDGE GUIDE (FIG 1)
the jig saw includes an edge guide (14) designed for
making straight cuts.
Make sure the battery pack has been removed prior to
installing the edge guide.
insert the edge guide through the two slots at the front
of the base, aligning the marks on the edge guide as a
reference for the desired cutting distance.
use the allen wrench to tighten both screws (15) securely
to prevent the edge guide from moving during use.
