Hang the hood from (4) mounting screws previously

installed. Slide the hood back towards the wall until the
mounting screw heads are engaged in the narrow end
of the keyhole slots in the top of the hood. Tighten the
screws securely.
Attach the power cable to the hood using the strain

relief.
Connect the ductwork to the hood and use metal foil

duct tape to make joints secure and air-tight.
Make sure the damper assembly or round duct plate
enters the ductwork and that the damper opens and
closes freely.
5.4 Electrical wire connection

Electrical wiring must be done by qualified personnel in

accordance with all applicable codes and standards.
Before installing, turn power OFF at the service panel.
Lock service panel to prevent power from being turned

ON accidentally.
Connect the house power cable to the hood wiring:

BLACK to BLACK
‒
WHITE to WHITE
‒
GREEN or bare wire under GREEN ground screw
‒
Motor ground wire
Ground screw
House power cable
Reinstall the second wiring cover with 4 screws, then

reinstall the first wiring cover and fix it with the one
screw where the two wiring covers come together.

Re-install the grease filters previously removed.
