• Turn the appliance on, by using the ON/
OFF button.
• Select the desired cutting height using
the guide comb height selector (G).
Press the button in the middle and
adjust the height according to the
desired cutting length.
HOW TO CUT THE HAIR
• Situate the person whose hair you are
going to cut so that the top of their head
is at your eye level. Place a protective
towel or cloth around their neck.
• Comb hair well before cutting. Make
sure that there are no tangles or knots.
• Hold the appliance in calm and relaxed
manner in order to ensure maximum
control of the cut and uniform result.
Proceed to use short cuts gradually
going around the head.
• Leave the hair a little longer than
desired length as it can always be
altered later.
• While working, adapt the guide comb
height selector to the desired result.
• At regular intervals, stop cutting in order
to comb the hair and check the results
so far.
ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING
THE APPLIANCE
• Turn the appliance off using the ON/
OFF button.
• Clean the appliance.
CLEANING
• Disconnect the battery charger from
the mains and allow it to cool before
undertaking any cleaning task.
• Clean the equipment with a damp cloth
with a few drops of washing-up liquid
and then dry.
• Do not use solvents, or products with
an acid or base pH such as bleach,
or abrasive products, for cleaning the
appliance.
• Never immerse the appliance in water
or any other liquid or place it under
running water.
• Take special care when cleaning the
blades as they are very sharp.
• If the appliance is not kept in a good
state of cleanliness, its surface may
deteriorate and this will inevitably affect
the life of the appliance and make it
unsafe to use.
• Remove the guide comb before
cleaning the blades. (Fig. 2).
• To clean the blades, press the blade
release button (H). Then clean the
blades with the cleaning brush. (Fig. 3)
• Remove the hairs from the blades
and from inside the appliance with
the brush. It is important to clean off
remaining hairs after each use.
• For a deeper clean, press down on the
inner pivoting blade to clean between
the two cutting blades. (Fig. 4).
