ATTENTION: It is forbidden to use the product other than in accordance with its intended use!
ATTENTION: During use and handling of the product and when assembling and adjus ng the mechanisms,
there may be a danger of entrapment and/or compression of parts of the user's/companion's body in
openings/gaps between components. Perform these opera ons with par cular care.
NOTE: There may be a risk of pping over if the product is used incorrectly. Please follow the instruc ons
for ge ng on/off /moving. Once the adjustment is complete, stabilise the posi on by ghtening the nuts/
bolts carefully.
PURPOSE / INDICATIONS
The wheelchair is intended for people with disabili es or mobility diffi cul es. It serves as a support during
mobility.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Physical or mental limita ons (e.g. visual impairment) that prevent safe handling.
GENERAL WARNINGS
- When ge ng on or off the wheelchair, make sure that both brakes are blocked.
- If the wheelchair is not being pushed or used make sure that both brakes are blocked.
- Avoid steep and uneven surfaces as this can cause the product to p over.
- Avoid so surfaces as the wheels may collapse.
- Move the wheelchair in a smooth manner in all condi ons.
- Always observe your surroundings to iden fy hazards, such as furniture, doors, holes, hills, kerbs,
entrances, etc.
- Always keep both feet on the footrests and ensure clothing is properly tucked and not blocking the heels.
- Always move in a careful manner on hills.
- Always keep both hands on the push handles for proper control of the wheelchair (applies to the carer).
- Always remember to maintain balance.
- Check the frame and wheelchair components regularly and always follow the instruc ons in this manual
during and a er the warranty period.
- Keep the wheelchair away from sources of fi re.
- Do not, under any circumstances, overload the product.
- Do not hang any heavy objects on the back of the wheelchair as this may aff ect the stability of the
product, par cularly when climbing hills.
- The wheelchair may only be used by one person.
- Do not use the wheelchair when the pa ent is unconscious.
- Do not use other means of transport to push the wheelchair.
- Do not li the front wheels while the wheelchair is in mo on, as this may result in a fall and serious injury
or death.
- Do not get into the wheelchair while it is moving.
- Do not move the wheelchair too fast and do not make sudden turns.
- Do not move the wheelchair across a hill (in either direc on) with a gradient of more than 7 degrees.
- Do not stand on the footrests when ge ng on or off the product.
- Do not climb stairs using a wheelchair, either alone or with a carer.
- Do not a empt to li the wheelchair with moving (removable) parts. Li ing with moving parts of the
product may lead to injury to the user and/or carer or damage to the product.
- Do not use the wheelchair if the backrest is folded. This changes the centre of gravity of the wheelchair
and may cause the wheelchair to p backwards. The backrest should only be folded when storing or
transpor ng the wheelchair.
- No objects should be hung on the backrest-folding connector as this may cause the backrest to fold down
and cause serious injury to the user.
