Important!
When mounting on a wall you must use suitable
screws (e.g. 3.5 mm pan-head screws) in order
to prevent damage to the housing and risk of the
machine falling.
5.3 Carrying strap (Fig. 3/Item 7)
The carrying strap (7) can be used to carry the
machine, e.g. from your shoulder.
Fasten the carrying strap (7) at the holes provided
using the two carabiners (c) as shown in Fig. 3.
5.4 Charging the LI battery pack (Fig. 4-5)
1. Remove the battery pack (d) from the handle,
pressing the pushlock buttons (e) downwards
to do so.
2. Check that your mains voltage is the same as
that marked on the rating plate of the battery
charger. Insert the power plug of the charger
(f) into the mains socket outlet. The green
LED will then begin to fl ash.
3. Push the battery pack onto the battery char-
ger.
In section 10 "Charger indicator" you will fi nd a
table with an explanation of the LED indicator on
the charger.
If the battery pack fails to become charged, ple-
ase check
•
whether there is voltage at the socket-outlet
•
whether there is proper contact at the char-
ging contacts on the charger.
If the battery still fails to become charged, please
return

to our Customer Service Department.
To ensure that items are properly packaged
and delivered when you send them to us,
please contact our customer service or the
point of sale at which the equipment was
purchased.
When shipping or disposing of batteries and
cordless tools, always ensure that they are
packed individually in plastic bags to prevent
short circuits and fi res.

To ensure that the battery pack provides long ser-
vice, you should take care to recharge it promptly.
You must recharge the battery pack when you
notice that the performance of the device drops.
Never allow the battery pack to become fully di-
scharged. This will cause it to develop a defect.
5.5 Battery capacity indicator (Fig. 6 – Item h)
Press the battery capacity indicator switch (g).
The battery capacity indicator (h) shows the char-
ge status of the battery using 3 LEDs.
All 3 LEDs are lit:
The battery is fully charged.
2 or 1 LED(s) are lit:
The battery has an adequate remaining charge.
1 LED fl ashes:
The battery is empty, recharge the battery.
All LEDs blink:
The battery temperature is too low. Remove the
battery from the equipment, keep it at room tem-
perature for one day. If the fault reoccurs, this me-
ans that the rechargeable battery has undergone
exhaustive discharge and is defective. Remove
the battery from the equipment. Never use or
charge a defective battery.
5.6 Storing the accessories (Fig. 7/Item 2)
The accessories can be stored in the storage box
(2). To access the accessories, pull the storage
box (2) out of the housing as shown in Fig. 7.
To quickly access frequently used accessories
you can use the rubber insert (i) provided for the
purpose. See Fig. 7.
5.7 Inserting the various tools (Fig. 8-9)
Danger!
Before inserting the tools (and each time before
changing a tool) switch off the drive unit and
remove the battery.
1.
Press the locking knob (6) and turn the colle
chuck until the bolt locks into place.
2.
Remove the clamp nut (5) using the chuck
key (20), insert the matching clamping slee-
ve (21) and refi t the clamp nut.
3.
Insert the required tool (j) into the clamping
sleeve as far as the stop and tighten the
clamp nut (5) using the chuck key (20).
The projection is not allowed to exceed 25 mm!
