Injector-Claw with Impact-Extractor
Injector Removal
When Working with fuel!
1. Depending on the engine type, the cylinder head cover has to be removed.
2. Unplug flat connector at the injector.
3. Remove fuel line.
4. Push in safety clamps at the overflow oil line's connectors and remove overflow oil line.
5. Disassemble the injector's fixing device.
6. Instead of the fixing device, put on the HAZET Injector Extractor 4797/2 now (Injector Claw
HAZET 4797-2 and Impact Extractor 4797-1) and remove injector.
Danger of getting pinched or squeezed at impact weight!
HAZET 4797-3 External Adapter with Inside Thread
The External Adapter must be used when the Injector Claw cannot be used, either because of
the model type or because of the lack of space.
1. For installing and removing, carry out preparatory work as described above (see points 1-5).
2. Remove the injector's upper part and screw on External Adapter 4797-3. Then remove the
injector by the help of the Impact Extractor 4797-1.
Always replace an injector that has been removed
using the External Adapter 4797-3!
When removing the injector, all prescriptions of the vehicle
manufacturer have to be compulsorily observed.
