Select a location for the speaker that has sufficient clearance above the ceiling to avoid any interference with electrical wiring, plumbing or other fixtures.

- Page 5 Detach Speaker Frame Use a screwdriver to turn each of the spring-loaded screws a half turn until they pop up. 2. Remove the speaker assembly from the frame. 3. Turn the screws back to the original position (so the surface of the screw head matches the contour of the speaker) before installing the frame in the ceiling.
- Page 6 Install Speaker Frame Ensure the mounting clamps are in the retracted position. 2. Insert the frame into the opening until the flange contacts the ceiling. 3. While holding the frame in place, rotate the mounting clamps outwards, then pull them against the ceiling to securely clamp the frame. Optional: Secure the frame to a ceiling joist using a safety wire through one of the frame holes.
- Page 7 Connect Speaker Cable DC-65 PRO SI Secure the speaker cable to the frame with a cable tie through the frame holes. 2. If the speaker cable is connected to an amplifier, turn off the amplifier. 3. Pull a maximum of 1 meter (3.28 ft.) of speaker cable out through the opening. 4.
- Page 8 Install Speaker Assembly Align the locking tabs with the holes in the frame, then insert the speaker assembly into the frame. 2.
