4. Safety Information
The guarantee/warranty will be void if damage is incurred resulting from non-compliance with
these operating instructions. We do not assume liability for any consequential damage.
Nor do we assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by improper
use or failure to observe the safety notices. In such cases the warranty/guarantee is void.
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible for safety rea-
sons.
• The device may only be may only be supplied with energy through the enclosed power supply
unit. Only connect the power unit to a normal mains socket (230-240 V/50 Hz).
• All persons operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servicing this mixer must be
trained and qualified accordingly and observe these operating instructions.
• Never touch the power unit with wet or damp hands. There is the risk of a fatal electric
shock!
• If the power unit is damaged, do not touch it. First cut off the power supply to the relevant
mains socket (e.g. via the circuit breaker) and then carefully pull the wall power supply out
of the mains socket. Do not use the product anymore afterwards but bring it to a specialised
workshop.
• When setting up the product, make sure that the power unit's cable is not pinched or damaged
by sharp edges.
• This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children! Children cannot judge
the dangers involved when handling electrical devices.
• Do not place any containers with liquids, e.g. glasses, buckets, vases or plants in the immedi-
ate proximity of the product. Liquids could get into the device and impair its electrical safety.
There also is a high risk of fire or of a life-threatening electric shock. In such a case, switch off
the mains socket to which the product is connected (e.g. switch off automatic fuse) and unplug
the power unit from the mains socket. Disconnect all cables from the device. After that, the
product must no longer be used; take it to a specialist workshop.
• Do not expose the device to any high temperatures, dripping or splashing water, strong vibra-
tions or heavy mechanical stress.
• Do not place any open sources of fire, such as burning candles, on or directly next to the de-
vice.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about the mode of operation, safety or connection of the
device.
• Do not operate the device unattended.
