room.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

- Duration of battery charge depends on the way the lantern
is used (continuously or intermittently). Intermittent
operation makes the charge last longer.
- When the battery is charged, the lantern will operate
continuously for up to 12 hours.
- The lantern might not light if outside temperature is less
than -7 ºC.
- The lantern should be recharged when LED illumination is
no longer optimal.
- Use only a damp cloth and mild dishwashing detergent to
clean the outside of the lantern and the globe. An excessive
amount of water or an abrasive product could damage the
lantern.

BATTERY CHARGE

When the battery is fully discharged, it takes from 16 to 18
hours for a complete recharge. To obtain the best possible
performance, recharge the battery for 18 hours the first three
times, preferably when you have finished using it.
Recharge the battery from a 230 V alternating current outlet.
Intermittent use of the lantern makes the battery last longer.
When the battery is fully discharged, turn the selector button
to the "O" position (see fig. 1 - Position O) otherwise, it will
be difficult to obtain an optimal charge. In this case, recharge
it for 40 continuous hours.
After prolonged storage (over six months), recharge the
lantern for a minimum of 16 hours.
After its initial charge, the lantern can be recharged from a
230 V AC power socket using the 230 V adapter.
To charge the battery:
Connect the adaptor to the lantern as shown in fig. 2 and to
the corresponding current outlet.
USING THE LANTERN
1. The lantern switch has two positions: ON/OFF.
2. To switch the lantern on, turn the selector switch clockwise
(ON position " ").
3. To turn the lantern off, turn the selector knob in a
counterclockwise direction (stop position, "O").
