. The kayak should be positioned so that it rests
directly against the forward part of the cradle
and the rear of the kayak leans back into the
wall. See image 9.
. Please note: The extra thick powder coated
surface of the J-Dock prevents any abrasion
from ever happening to your kayak.

Caution:
1. Maximum total capacity = 200 lb
2. For outside installations, additional load straps are recommended for the kayak stored in the cradles.
3. Always check cradles & strap slings for secure attachment and/or conditions that could lead to failure.
4. Use of this product for any other application other than wall storage voids warranty.

Step 3: Installing Kayaks
. Gently lift and place the first kayak into the
cradles. The boat should be evenly centered
between the cradles. Check both cradles
to ensure they are firmly fixed to the wall.
See image 8.

. Place and center the second kayak into the strap
slings. There are two ways of accomplishing this.
1. For two people: lift and insert the front of the
kayak through the left sling. Bring the kayak
forward until the right sling can be dressed around
the rear of the kayak. Finish by centering the kayak
in the slings.
2. For one person: undo the right sling and allow
the strap to freely hang from the cradle. Lift the
kayak and insert through the left sling. With the
left sling holding the front of the kayak, go to the
right sling. Lift the rear of the kayak and dress the
sling around the kayak. Finish by centering the kayak.
