. Locate the wall studs. Using one J-Dock as a
template, mark the two mounting locations for
each cradle. See image 2.

WALL STORAGE SYSTEM
Step 1: Installing J-Docks
. The J-Docks are designed to be bolted to the
wall studs. These studs are normally positioned
16" apart (center to center). We advise the
J-Docks be placed 32" or 48" apart depending
upon the length of the kayak. See image 1.

. Drill all four mounting holes using a 3/8" bit. See
image 3.

  • Page 2 MALONE Installation & Loading Instructions - MPG317 J-Dock Hybrid . Align each cradle with the pilot holes drilled in step 3. Insert lag bolts (4) and tighten using a 1/2” socket drive. Continue to tighten until each cradle is firmly secured to the wall. See image 4.
