3.3- Special warnings when using this product
• Do not use the tools in any operations that beyond the intended purpose.
• Use with genuine Li-ion battery packs (not included). Use of other batteries may cause fire.
See Table 3 for more information.
• Recharge the battery pack with genuine Ribimex chargers (not included). Use of other
chargers may cause fire. See Table 2 for more information.
• Refer to the instruction manual of Ribimex battery pack and charger for safety, quality and
operation instructions.
• To prevent unintentionally switching on, remove the battery pack from the product when it
is in transportation, storage or not in use.
• Remove the battery pack from the tool before switching accessories or performing
maintenance.
• Avoid unintentional starting of the product. Do not carry the product with your hand over
the trigger.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) before operation whereas it is deemed
appropriate, including:
- ear protection
- eye protection
- non-skid protective gloves
- non-skid safety shoes
• This tool is not intended to be connected to potable water mains.
• Never runs dry the tool, or the tool may be damaged. Before starting the tool, make sure that
it is receiving water correctly.
• The tool is designed for using with clean water with temperature below 40 °C. Do not use
with saline water or liquids that is corrosive, aggressive or flammable.
• The tool operates under high pressure, use only genuine pressure hose, fittings, couplings,
nozzles or spare parts.
• This tool is not suitable for cleaning windows.
• Protect the product from freezing during winter. The product is intended to be used in
environment above 4 °C.
• Make sure safety lock is applied after use of the product.
• Do not direct the water jet towards people, animals or electrical equipment.
• Maintain a minimal distance of 30cm from the painted surface being cleaned.
• Beware of kickback. Grip the pressure washer with both hands firmly before starting the
tool.
IV. GETTING STARTED
4.1- Unpacking
• Remove the product from packaging.
• Check if the product and accessories (if any) are intact.
4.2- Assembly
Assembling the lance (Fig. 2)
• Assemble the lance (2) on to the pressure washer body (3).
