Removing the parallel guide
(Fig. B)
1. Loosen the retaining screws (20).
2. Pull the parallel guide (23) out of the
holders (18).
Adjusting the parallel guide
(Fig. B)
1. Loosen the retaining screws (20).
2. Set the scale on the parallel guide
(23) so that you can read the desired
cutting width on the mount (18) mark-
ing.
3. Retighten the retaining screws (20).
4. Make a test cut, check the cutting
width and correct the position of the
parallel guide (23) if necessary.
External dust extraction
Connecting external dust extrac-
tion (Fig. C)
1. Disable the dust blower function (7).
2. Slide the suction nozzle (9) as far as it
will go into the guide rail between the
device and footplate (11).
3. Connect a suitable dust extraction (not
included) to the suction nozzle (9).
4. If the external dust extraction does not
fit, use the additional reducer piece
(8).

1. Remove the dust extraction from the
suction nozzle (9) or reducer piece (8).
2. Remove the reducer piece (8).
3. Remove the suction nozzle (9):
• Press against the suction nozzle in-
side the recess in the footplate (11).
• Pull the suction nozzle backwards.

• Never work without a footplate!
• When the footplate is removed, it is
easier to insert short saw blades .
Tools required
• Hex key (6)
Removing the footplate (Fig. E)
1. Switch off the device and remove the
battery. Make sure that all moving
parts have come to a complete stop.
2. Remove the hexagon socket screws
(28) with the hex key (6).
3. Remove the foot plate (11) down-
wards.
Attaching the footplate (Fig. E)
1. Place the footplate (11) on the tool
from below.
2. Secure the footplate (11) with the
hexagon socket screws (28).
Checking the battery charge
level
When the device
is on, the battery
status indicator (10)
displays the battery
charge level.
