Which dishes are best?
- Special microwave dishes
- Heat-proof glass
- Heat-proof ceramics
- Microwave-proof plastic dishes (Not for the grill function)
- Kitchen paper (as long as it is free of metal) (Not for the grill function)
Which containers must not be used in the microwave?
- Containers and dishes made of plastic that is not microwave-proof
- Glass that is not heat-proof
- Containers, dishes, foils, etc. made of metal or aluminium
- Recycled paper (this contains a certain amount of metal)
Beware:
No metal dishes (metalled edges), dishes with metallic decorations, metal-
containing containers and foils should be used, they may cause sparking.
Tip:

To test whether your crockery is microwave-proof, place them with a glass of water on
the glass turntable (3). Set the operating switch to the highest setting and the timer
to 1 minute. If the container is still cold at the end of this time, it will be suitable for
use in the microwave.

When you use ready-made microwave products, always follow the cooking instructions
printed on the pack.
Possible problems, and how these can be solved
The microwave can cause interference to radios, TVs and other similar appliances if they
are located too close to each other.
- Re-position the antenna on the affected appliance.
- If necessary, find a new position for the microwave, not too close to the affected
appliance.
- Connect the microwave to a different socket box, not connected to the same electrical
circuit as the affected appliance.
