Caution:
Never put any chemicals, organic creatures (animals or plants) or Non-Food items of
any kind into the microwave. Danger of igniting!
Tips:
- Remove metal components from all containers, bags etc before placing them in the
microwave.
- If you notice any smoke, switch off or unplug the appliance and leave the doors closed
so that any flames that may arise will be extinguished.
- Do not use the inside of the microwave as a storage space. Do not use to store paper,
cooking utensils or food.
- Do not cook liquids or solid foods in sealed containers if you are aware that these
might explode.
- When you heat drinks, take care not to touch any hot spots as you open the microwave
to take out these drinks. Beware, HOT.
- Do not use the microwave for frying. Hot oil can damage the microwave and maycause
skin burns.
- Do not heat whole eggs. They might explode.
- Before cooking any fruit, vegetables or sausages that have a tough skin, pierce the
skin with a needle or a fork.
- Stir or shake baby foods well after heating. Check the temperature before serving.
When you cook in the microwave, only the food itself is heated up. As a result, the
container may stay cold or lukewarm, while the food may be very hot.
- Take teats and lids off baby bottles before you heat them in the microwave.
- Containers are heated up by the foods they contain. Oven gloves may be used to
take out the food, to avoid any risk of burning.
