2. SAFETY INFORMATION.
2.1. CONSIDERATIONS.
The purpose of this manual is to provide the necessary support
throughout the process of installing optional units, both for profes-
sional installers and users less familiar with this sector, therefore
all of the steps to follow are indicated in detail.
However, after following the guidelines in this manual, if additional
support is still required, please contact our technical service by any
of the means indicated on the back cover of this quick guide.
The installation of optional accessories requires modification of the
electrical installation of the connection box. The following safety
warnings must be taken into account:

Attention: Make sure that the main switch (IGA) of
the installation cuts off the power supply for the
entire installation.
Make sure that the inverter's switch/isolating switch
is in the OFF position.
Make sure that the junction box circuit breakers are acti-
vated and there is no voltage in the cables to be handled.
Due to possible improvement updates, both in this manual and in
the application, there may be changes with respect to the explana-
tions and images shown, so it is recommended to download the
latest version from our website.
For a general idea of the process to be followed, at the end of the
installation, the following steps will have been completed:
Physically insert the measurement and communication devices

in the current installation.
Power the measurement and communication devices.
•
Connect the communication cables between the devices.
•
Configure the "485/WIFI 24H EQX2-T" communication module
•
via the EQX-sun app, and register the installation in order to
monitor the photovoltaic generation, grid injection/consump-
tion and consumption data of the installation.

Before carrying out any work on the unit relating to its installation
or start-up, change of location, configuration or manipulation of any
kind, you must read the Safety Instructions carefully.
The purpose of the user manual is to provide information relating
to safety and procedures, as well as explanations about the instal-
lation and operation of the units. Carefully read the following
procedures in the order indicated.
Compliance with the "Safety Instructions" is manda-
tory, and the user is legally responsible for observing
them.
The unit is supplied duly labelled for correct identification of each
of its parts which, together with the instructions contained in this
manual, allows installation, start-up and operation to be carried out
in a simple and orderly manner.
Finally, once the unit has been installed and is operating, it is
advisable to keep the documentation downloaded from our
website or pen drive in a safe place in case of any doubts or queries
that may arise.
