6. Before starting the equipment

6.3 Connecting to earth
The housing is allowed to be connected to earth
in order to discharge static electricity. To do this,
connect one end of a cable to the earth
connection on the generator (Fig. 2/Item 14) and
the other end to an external earth (for example
an earthing rod).
7. Operation
7.1 Starting the engine
Check whether the mechanical switch (Fig. 6/
Item A) is set to "RUN".
Important!
The power selector switch is set at the factory
and must not be changed.
Set the ON/OFF switch (Fig. 2/Item 18) to the
"ON" position using the key.
Pull the choke and turn the on/o switch
with the key to "Start".
Release the choke after approx. 5 sec.
and the engine starts to run.
When the engine is running, turn the ON/OFF
switch to "ON".
If the engine does not start straight away
(particularly if the tank was previously empty or
the starting procedure by pulling the
decompression cable again.
