Remove from below the vehicle any protective sealant from the points of contact between the shell and the tow bar; then paint the
parts with rust preventer. The holes for the tow bar fixing are available.

Disassemble the rear bumper.
2.
Disassemble and remove the inner reinforcement cross bumper.
3.
Disassemble the luggage fixing rings (if there), the rear side, the pavement and the Dx and Sx side of the inner cladding.

Match holes "Y" of plates "A" with the refering crosses situated on the side of the luggage compartment; mark holes "1", "3",
"4", "5", remove the plates and drill holes "3" with a bit of Ø9 mm, the remaining ones with a bit of Ø11 mm, only the upper side.
5.
From under the vehicle mark on spars the holes "1" and "5" as shown on the attached diagram and drill with a bit of Ø11mm
only the lower side, widen holes "4" to Ø21 mm on the lower side.
6.
From inside the luggage compartment widen holes "1" and "5" to Ø21 mm and insert the sparers "C" and "D" (make sure
that the sparers have the right inclination), lay plates "A" and insert screws "1", "3", "4", "5".
7.
From under the vehicle fix screws "3", subsequently insert sparer "B" inside the spar, place the tie beams "E" and "F",
tighten screws "1", "4", "5".
8.
Interject the drawbeam "G" to the tie beams "E" and "F" previously installed, with reference to holes "2", insert screws and fix.
9.
Fasten nuts and bolts with a tightening torque as shown on the table.
10.
Connect the wiring to the socket, following the car booklet's instructions "use and maintenance" as shown in the enclosed
wiring kit layout.
11.
Make two cuts: on the lower centre side of the bumper and on the luggage fastening rings as shown on the enclosed diagram.
12.
Reassemble sides "Dx" and "Sx", the rear side, the pavement of the cladding luggage compartment with his luggage
fastening rings (if there).
13.
Reassemble the bumper.

Make sure that the tow bar is suitable for the vehicle before starting the installation. Verify also that the vehicle's towing
disposal quoted on the car registration is mentioned on the tow bar document. Otherwise ask for the appropriate office
(umbrarimorchi@umbrarimorchi.it) for explanations or updated documents.
•
For safety, all work involving tow bar installation must be undertaken by skilled technicians.
•
Damaged components must be replaced with manufacturer's spares parts by qualified staff.
•
It is forbidden to make any modification or structural repair to the tow bar.
•
The tow ball must be kept clean and lubricated. For added safety, his diameter (50 mm) must be checked at regular
intervals. If the tow ball measures less than 49 mm after selected readings across the diameter, the tow ball must be
replaced with a new one.
•
After 1000 km of towing, check torque settings for nuts and bolts, in accordance with the table.
