Sodium Information: Systems using sodium chloride for regeneration will add sodium to the water. The
amount of sodium added is proportionate to the amount of hardness removed. People who are on sodium-
restricted diets should consider the added sodium as part of their overall sodium intake.

Kinetico Water Softeners (MACH 2025s, 2030s, 2040s OD, 2040c OD, 2050s, 2050c, 2060s,
2060s OD, 2100s, 2100s OD, 2175s, 4040s OD and 4060s OD with Macrolite or carbon)
are tested and certified by NSF International and/or the WQA against the requirements
of NSF/ANSI Standard 44 for softener performance and chemical reduction of barium and
radium 226/228. The Kinetico 4060s OD with Macrolite is tested and certified by NSF Inter-
national and/or the WQA against the requirements of NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for Particulate
Reduction Class III. The 4060s OD with carbon is tested against NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for
chlorine reduction. NSF International and/or the WQA certifies our product performance and
reviews our manufacturing facility and procedures to assure product consistency and integrity.
They also assure that our literature accurately reflects our product capabilities.
Certified Continuous Flow Rate as validated by NSF International represents continuous service
flow of water at 15 psi pressure drop and is not an indication of maximum flow rate or unit
