3. Package contents
The Cosipillar Dome comes with the following parts:
Package contents:
A. Cosipillar Dome
B. 1x box of lava stones
C. 4x wheel
D. AAA battery
The only thing you still need to purchase is a gas cylinder. This can be obtained from your local gas supplier. More
information on the maximum dimensions of the gas cylinder can be found under point 6. 'Technical specifications'.
4. Assembly instructions
4.1. Placing the fire pit
Follow the steps below to correctly assemble the fire pit. Note: Make sure the burner is not yet connected to a
gas cylinder while performing the steps below!
1.
Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and check if everything is present according to the
overview above.
2.
Choose the location where you want to place the fire pit. Make sure the fire pit is on a paved
(preferably stone) surface. The surface should be completely flat and clean. Furthermore, the fire pit
should be placed at least two metres away from flammable materials and liquids.
3.
The fire pit comes with adjustable legs underneath. If the fire pit is on a surface that is not quite level,
you can use the adjustable legs to level the fire pit.
Would you like to make the Cosipillar easier to move? Then you can replace the adjustable feet with the
separately supplied wheels. This can be done as follows:
-
Make sure that the Cosipillar is not connected to a gas canister; that a gas canister is not inside the
model; and that the lava stones have been removed from the burner.
-
Ask a second person to carefully tilt the Cosipillar slightly, so that
the two adjustable feet can be easily accessed on one side. Please
note: the top of the Cosipillar is loose, so do not tilt from the top. It
is best to hold the body of the Cosipillar.
-
While the Cosipillar is being tilted, unscrew the feet from the
bottom of the model and replace them with the wheels. Then tilt
the Cosipillar towards the other side, in order to unscrew the other
two feet and screw the remaining two wheels into the model. We
recommend placing the wheels that feature a brake diagonally
from one another, and not immediately next to each other.
4.2. Preparing for use
4.2.1. Inserting or replacing the battery
The fire pit features a piezo ignition and is powered by one AAA battery. You can insert or replace the battery as
follows:
-
Make sure the fire pit and lava stones have cooled down completely.
-
Make sure the fire pit is not or no longer connected to a gas cylinder.
-
Next to the control knob is a smaller black button on the control panel. This is the ignition and this
contains the battery.
-
You can now unscrew the black ignition counter clockwise and insert the battery into the ignition, paying
close attention to the +/- side. Then close the ignition again.
