• Weather conditions can affect the performance and service life of your pump. Unnecessary
wear can occur during cold spells, particularly hot weather and due to exposure to sunlight.
Protect the pump from such conditions as far as possible.
• Only qualified persons who are familiar with this manual may assemble the system. Errors may
result in injuries.
• The pump is not suitable for pumping faeces or flammable, corrosive, explosive or other
dangerous liquids. The pumped liquid must not exceed or fall below the maximum or minimum
temperature specified!
• Ensure the electrical parts of the pump do not come into contact with water. Risk of death!
GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION – ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
• CAUTION! Read all safety information and instructions. Failure to follow the safety information
and instructions may cause electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
• Ensure that water cannot get inside the appliance. Never immerse the appliance in water or
other liquids.
• Do not use the appliance if the mains plug, mains cable or any other part of the appliance is
defective or damaged.
• Do not remove the mains plug from the socket by pulling on the mains cable.
• Never insert or remove the mains plug with wet hands.
• This appliance may be used by children over the age of 8 and by individuals with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of experience and knowledge, provided that
they are supervised or have received instructions on the safe use of the appliance and
understand the risks involved. Children may not play with the appliance. Do not allow children
to clean the appliance or perform user maintenance without supervision.
• Do not use any electrical appliances in potentially explosive environments, e.g. in the presence
of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Electrical appliances produce sparks that can ignite dust or
exhaust fumes.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
• The plugs of electrical appliances must be compatible with the socket. Never change the plug.
Do not use any adaptor plugs with earthed electrical appliances. Original plugs and matching
sockets reduce the risk of electric shock.
• When operating an electrical appliance outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor
use. The use of a cable suited to outdoor use limits the risk of electric shock.
• If the operation of the electrical appliance in a damp environment is unavoidable, use a residual
current device for personal protection. The use of an RCD limits the risk of electric shock.
HOW IT WORKS
The electronic control device regulates the starting and stopping of the water pump by detecting
the opening or closing of any of the taps or according to the system values. So long as any of the
taps in the system are turned on, the control device can maintain a constant flow of water in the
system.
