To set the thermostat temperature: Turn on the heater, then press the heater button
(4) to enter temperature adjustment mode. The LED function indicator (2) is red if
using Fahrenheit and green if using Celsius. In adjustment mode, the display (1) flashes
(interval is 0.5 second). The temperature setting range is between 82°F - 62°F - OFF-
ON (27°C - 17°C - OFF - ON). Now in adjustment mode, press the heater button multiple
times until you reach your preferred temperature setting. After you release the heater
button (4), your preferred temperature will be flashing. Once it stops flashing, and the
display goes dark, then the thermostat will be set at your preferred temperature (and
kept in memory).
There are two sensors installed beside the bottom outlet grille at both ends. If any sensor
is covered by the sliding door when the heating function turns on, the LED lights show
"- -" and the display (1) flashes 5 seconds to signal the heating function is turned off. The
heater will turn on immediately once the sensor is uncovered.
Pressing the heater button (4) will not turn on the heat function if any sensor is covered
by the sliding door. The LED lights show "- -" and the display (1) will turn off the show
after 5 seconds. You can't turn on the heater until the door is moved to uncover the
sensor.
Heater Lock (safety feature): To lock the heating function in the OFF position, with the
main power button on, press and hold the heater button (4) for ten seconds. The log
lights flash several times to indicate that the heater function is locked. In this mode,
there is no heating function but only glowing logs and normal flame control operation.
